A 2 in 1 version with still the same idea, to unify the Gnome and Xfce desktops in a single distributionVoyager, à sélectionner à votre session. Le tout dans un style complètement repensé pour ce duo, Gnome 43.9 desktop coupled with Xfce 4.18 desktop. With the promise finally fulfilled, to have 2 unified systems Gnome and Xfce, light, fast, modern, fluid, secure and efficient in a hybrid environment for PC and Tablet. The 2 desktops are very distinct and their respective applications are mostly invisible, for one or the other environment. Another new feature, you will have the ability to easily create a mobile office    Voyager , with a USB key managing persistence with Ventoy and 3 partitions of 1, 2 and 4 GB, automatically installable. This version is based on the Linux 6.1 kernel and the Debian 12 "Bookworm"  distribution with its new features. Kernel 6.1 is in LTS version.  Bookworm will be supported for the next 5 years through the combined work of the Debian Security Team and the Long Term Support team. Debian 12 which offers experimental Rust support, Intel Meteor Lake enablement, improved ARM SoC support, and more. Additionally, PipeWire replaces aging PulseAudio, enabling improved handling of audio and video. With integrated options grouped in the Box  Voyager  like Conky Control , Gnome Shell Effects , Repair ,Screencast, Wine development and Steam Gaming and Gnome extensions selected according to PC needs. A Special Gaming profile of type GS has been created in xfce. With numerous Themes and Wallpapers and essentialsoftware and lots of other new features to discover like Scrcpy to have your smartphone screen on PC. Debian 12 "Bookworm" contains over 11089 new packages, bringing the total to over 64419 packages. Most of the software included with Debian has been updated, with over 6296 packages removed because they are old or obsolete.

The installer on Debian has received various improvements that have resulted in better hardware support and exciting new features. Take, for example, improved handling of proprietary (non-free) firmware for hardware, which now simplifies loading these firmware from the installer. This was made possible thanks to the inclusion of Debian APT 2.6 which allows better management of non-free firmware on Debian. So non-free firmware binaries will now be enabled by default when it is verified that they are needed. These changes will provide better support for different hardware running on non-free firmware, particularly GPUs and Wi-Fi adapters.

Debian which is supported by a huge community is the mother of deb versions on which all versions are based. This is why this version 12 was made after 11 and 7. Never forget where we come from!
