You can now try out HeliumOS, a new Linux-based operating system inspired by immutable-style distributions. HeliumOS aims to provide reliability and user-friendliness for its users.

Installation of Flatpak-packaged apps is provided through the Discover software center and Debian-packaged software through the Synaptic graphical interface. Our goal for HeliumOS is to provide a reliable and user-friendly system using BTRFS snapshots, a stable Debian base, and a small selection of useful applications.

Today the first alpha version of HeliumOS 1.0 is released. As an alpha release, HeliumOS 1.0 Alpha1 may be prone to additional problems. Please wait until a stable release before installing on important devices.
