Hello friends it's me! KDE Darkstar for August is now available for download and installation. Core updates include Kernel 5.13.7, Xorg 1.20.13, Pulseaudio 15.0, GCC 11.2.0 and KDE components updated to current versions. Hal and vnstat daemons were dropped from installation. Network Manager is now default to manage your network connections replacing the drakx-net-applet. The avahi daemon is disabled on the live media but enabled on install. speeboot=yes was dropped from the grub boot menu selection as it no longer interferes with Network Manager.  

PCLinuxOS Darkstar is a minimal PCLinuxOS installation featuring the KDE Plasma desktop that you can use to add your favorite applications from the Synaptic Software Repository to make it your own. A very basic set of applications are included on the installation to get you started.
