DeniX OS is a Fedora based distribution with MATE-desktop and packages from rpmfusion and other repositories. MATE - it's a GNOME 2 fork, that continues development of the GNOME 2.x branch.

DeniX OS is simple, fast, easy to use and compatible with Fedora. It provides a Linux alternative to Windows and let Windows users enjoy all the features of Linux without complications.

Due to license restrictions we had to change the distro's name and to replace images, containing Fedora logos. Thereby we want to point out that DeniX is not an independent distro, but just the compilation of the programs from Fedora, rpmfusion and other repositories.

DeniX's respin main goal is to simplify the installation and setup. Original Fedora installation media doesn't contain packages to support mp3, DVD, DivX, Flash. To install them you need to have an internet connection and some skills and knowledge. Besides, Fedora updates are as large as several gigabytes, which means you have to spend traffic and your time. After DeniX installation you'll get a system with multimedia support, wider range of programs and applications than that is for official Fedora installation media.
