We are thrilled to announce the release of LinDoz 2025, a powerful new operating system built on Ubuntu 24.04, featuring a heavily modified Cinnamon Desktop framework. This release introduces our groundbreaking AI companion, Electra AI, deeply integrated throughout the system for an intuitive and automated user experience.
Key Highlights & New Features:
Electra AI : We are happy to announce that we have spent most of the last 2 and half years developing on our AI Model called "Electra AI", she now has agent capabilities as well as search and find capabilities.
What is Electra AI ? We decided very early on in the AI days around the time some free models started floating around, that we wanted to build a Linux of the Future, where users could simply click on something and it shows the AI options you can easily apply to a file with a single click. To achieve something like this we firstly would have to integrate an AI into the OS on a much deeper level than a simple chat bot, Secondly we would need to be in control of this AI to make sure that security risks remain something we can control to provide a risk free experience for the end user. Using an External AI like Chatgpt or another 3rd Party AI would mean we have no control over what is being recorded by that AI, Also the end user would be responsible for the running costs per token and this can make it an expensive experience for most. Thus Electra Was Born. She runs on our server boxes, we control her, and thus we are able to offer a FREE and SAFE experience for the end user, no additional running costs or unexpected bills for the end user to worry about, NO API keys to setup or scripts to run. It's all already integrated and out of the box ready to use.
Agent Mode : In agent Mode she will spawn copies of herself using different models to help achieve tasks with better accuracy and more detailed results. Where Agent mode with Electra is different to other Agents, is that with Electra one of the Agents is responsible for fact checking, She literally Fact Checks herself before delivering the final response to you. At any one point she will use up to 7 agents to achieve whatever task the user has asked her to, but one Agent will ALWAYS be tasked to verify the response and check for false data. We have also spent a lot of time fine tuning agents to try and minimize response times and make them not only smarter, but also faster.
Search Mode : Where applicable, We have enabled search mode, not only can Electra spawn agents to complete tasks, but in many cases she can also pull live information from the internet. This is not enabled everywhere as it has huge costs attached, We use this feature only in cases where applicable, but this is a feature that exists and you will see it in action if you use LinDoz.
Electra AI Integration: Built-in Voice Assistant: Electra AI is now integrated directly into the OS, offering hands-free interaction for a very useful and efficient computing experience. Deep System Integration: The AI is profoundly integrated into the core of the system and operates through a convenient right-click mechanism across various file types and the desktop.
