The installer on Debian has received various improvements that have resulted in better hardware support and exciting new features. Take, for example, improved handling of proprietary (non-free) firmware for hardware, which now simplifies loading these firmware from the installer. This was made possible thanks to the inclusion of Debian APT 2.6 which allows better management of non-free firmware on Debian. So non-free firmware binaries will now be enabled by default when it is verified that they are needed. These changes will provide better support for different hardware running on non-free firmware, particularly GPUs and Wi-Fi adapters.
Debian which is supported by a huge community is the mother of deb versions on which all versions are based. This is why this version 12 was made after 11 and 7. Never forget where we come from!
