Parrot Security (Parrot OS, Parrot) is a free and open source GNU/Linux distribution based on Debian Testing designed for security experts, developers and privacy aware people. It includes a full portable arsenal for IT security and digital forensics operations, but it also includes everything you need to develop your own programs or protect your privacy while surfing the net. By default it comes with MATE desktop environment.
It can support common architecture amd64 live media, arm64 (RPi or soon to be added SBCs), and a range of VM configurations or docker containers. Home edition is a smaller footprint image best suited for general use by nonspecialists in IT, while Security edition offers a rich suite of facilities for security specialists and researchers.
