On mars 30th, 2015, the Emmabuntüs Team is pleased to announce the new Emmabuntüs 3 1.01 based on Xubuntu 14.04.2.

This version 1.01 includes the following fixes and enhancements :

* Based on Xubuntu 14.04.2
* Plugins update for Firefox, Chromium, Thunderbird
* Ltools 2.8 extension update within Libre Office
* Fix of the Calibri font non-installation
* Addition of Minitube
* Addition of smb4k
* The Accessibility category was added. Includes a Virtual Glass Magnifier and a script to ease the cursor customization.
* Fix of the keyboard mapping back to QWERTY after the install. To avoid this problem, please look at this entry in our FAQ


To ensure a correct installation of Emmabuntüs, we strongly suggest to run it without internet connection, and to reconnect to the network only during the first system restart, when it is time to install (or not) the optional non-free software. Please have a look at How To Install Emmabuntüs 3 on the Developpez.com site.


Pay attention please to the fact that there is still some problems with some graphics cards like the Nvidia C61 GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 with which you must use the proprietary driver otherwise the screen freezes quite often. In addition we recommand to disable the wallpaper during the installation phase, see this entry in our FAQ.
