VailuxOS is a Linux operating system based on Debian. Our main goal is to make the transition from Windows to Linux as seamless as possible by maintaining familiar working methods and workflows.

Ready to Use
The ISO is only a few gigabytes in size. Similar to Ubuntu, it is easy to install and can fulfill your daily needs without additional configuration or complicated procedures.

Stable Package Base
VailuxOS is based on the Debian package base. VailuxOS is compatible with apt packages. It is a perfect combination of experience and ecology.

Data Protection & Privacy
Privacy is no longer optional. It is essential. VailuxOS is designed to collect nothing from you. We do not track you. We do not create profiles of you. We do not target you. You remain anonymous to the system.

User-Friendly Interface
Our KDE-based desktop environment features a beautiful interface modeled after Windows 11. We have taken Windows user habits into account to ensure the transition to VailuxOS is easy and fast.

Open Source
VailuxOS is an open-source project. Under the GPL-v3 license, you can view, modify, and redistribute the source code. It is free and will remain so.

Containerized
Graphical applications are installed via Flatpak and stay separate from the base system (since 1.3). They also allow for fine-tuned control over their permissions.
