Plamo linux is a linux distribution from Japan and may have limited language support.

Plamo Linux is a Japanese Linux distribution based on Slackware, which was started by Mitsuhiro Kojima in the summer of 1997.

Initially, it was developed with the aim of "easily building a Japanese environment even for beginners", but now the part for beginners is left to commercial distributions, without excessive black boxing or automation. Development is continuing based on the idea of maintaining an environment that is as simple and clear as possible, and valuing the bobby nature of Linux.

Originally, the author who translated the Slackware installer into Japanese and 1FD knew that if each package was replaced with that of JE (Japanese Environment), the Japanese environment would only need to be installed once, but then Due to Slackware's copyright restrictions, it cannot be called Slackware, so it was called Plagiarism (plagiarism: plagiarism, plagiarism, theft) in the sense that it steals Slackware.

However, in the English-speaking world, plagiarism is a word with a strong negative nuance, so when I recruited it on the mailing list, it was named Plamo.

Plamo Linux is a plastic model that has a strong taste, is easy to modify, is a little bit more chaotic than commercial Linux, and makes you feel nostalgic that anyone has played once since childhood. It can be said that it is a suitable name for Linux.
