It is with great joy that I inform the release of PCLinuxOS Br LXDE 2018.1  

With the most updated LTS kernel of PCLinuxOS, version 4.14.26, and all updated programs, among them:  

• Palemoon (fast web browser, developed from the Firefox 27 code)  
• SimpleBurn (program to create CDs and DVDs)  
• Gnome-Mplayer (audio and video player)  
• Gpicview (image viewer)  
• Evince (document viewer, PDF, etc.)  
• LOManager (LibreOffice installer, always in the latest version, 6.0.2)  
• Compton Settings and Compton Start (programs to enable 3D effects in LXDE)  
• Leafpad (pure text editor)  
• Lxterminal (LXDE terminal)  
• Gparted (graphic disk partitioner)  
• Fix Screen Resolution  
• Fix Touchpad (solution for non-functional touchpads)  
• LX temp (temperature monitor)  
• LX Uptime (on time)  
• Hplip (HP Printer Setup Application)  
• Addlocale (Language Settings Manager)  
• File-Roller (compression manager)  
• Default Sound Card (choose the default sound card / sound output)  
• Synaptic (manages installed packages)  
Among others.  

No systemd nor Pulseaudio, just the good old Free Software that everyone trusts.
