Beta release of ROSA Marathon 2012 LXDE x86_64

Following the Beta release of ROSA Marathon 2012 with Long Term Support based on KDE4, community of ROSA are pleased to announce a minimalistic version based on LXDE - a lightweight desktop environment.

ROSA Marathon 2012 LXDE Beta uses the same code base as the primary
distribution. This release is guaranteed to work on machines with 256 Mb
of RAM and will likely work even with less amount of memory.

The release uses the latest versions of LXDE components with additionsfrom accompanying projects, such as lxpanelx, volumeicon and others.

The following features should be highlighted:

    minimalistic size (< 800 Mb);
    kernel 3.0.28;
    LibreOffice (Writer and Calc);
    major European languages;
    Firefox 10.0.2;
    VLC 2.0.1;
    DeaDBeeF 0.5.2.

The final version will fit 1CD (if written in the overburn mode).
