Note that the versioning system has changed to reflect the release date.  The previous full release was pmagic-6.7.
QuoteThe Parted Magic OS employs core programs of GParted and Parted to handle partitioning tasks with ease, while featuring other useful software (e.g. Partimage, TestDisk, Truecrypt, Clonezilla, G4L, SuperGrubDisk, ddrescue, etc...) and an excellent set of info to benefit the user. An extensive collection of file system tools are also included, as Parted Magic supports the following: btrfs, ext2, ext3, ext4, fat16, fat32, hfs, hfs+, jfs, linux-swap, ntfs, reiserfs, and xfs. Parted Magic requires at least a i586 processor and 312MB of RAM to operate or 175MB in "Live" mode.

QuoteIf you would like to use Parted Magic from a CD or USB stick, first download one of these files for the correct CPU of your machine.

Most people will only need this file:

This file is for machines older than a Pentium III class, such as an i586 or a PII with only one processor.
pmagic_2011_11_24_i486.iso (md5sum: e7f06087b4911f66efb5d40625a59f0f)

This file has an X86_64 kernel which is useful for rescue tasks on x86_64 machines. For example, you cannot chroot into an x86_64 machine without this kernel:
