DESERT OS Linux is a lightweight, beautiful system with the XFCE desktop environment, developed in Ukraine. Based on Ubuntu 26.04 LTS, it will remain current and receive updates until April 2031.

The theme changes the accent color depending on your desktop wallpaper.

Some system elements and applications support translucency and blur.

You can set mp4 video as wallpaper on your desktop and login screen

The system contains applications written specifically for DESERT.
Tiling
You can enable dynamic tiling mode for window arrangement (Cortile)

The necessary applications are installed and are easy to find and run.
