This release brings KDE 4.7, Firefox 7, LibreOffice 3.4, Linux kernel 3.1, and GCC 4.6 with support for Google's new Go programming language. OpenSUSE 12.1 is the first Linux distribution to support ownCloud with its own unique Mirall desktop integration. Color management support is greatly improved in this version. Snapper is a new and unique tool that employs snapshot functionality in the BTRFS file system.
