Which Laptop best for gaming purpose?

Just wanted to get your opinion about the gaming laptop,
I want to buy a laptop for gaming purpose, currently, I am using Dell laptop.
My friend suggests me Apple MacBook Pro, Does anyone here use one? Guide me about the benefit of the MacBook Pro.

Last time I knew, most computer games don't even work on Mac, but could be wrong. May want to look into this.
