The CD / USB Images is the same installation media and live system that can be used for maintenance or repair. The ISO file can be burned to CD as both are copied using programs such as dd to USB sticks. It can be used both for i686 and x86_64 installations.

The download is only required for new installations! An existing Arch Linux system can be kept up to date with pacman-Syu always !

Das CD/USB-Images ist gleichzeitig Installations-Medium und Live-System, welches zur Wartung oder Reparatur benutzt werden kann. Die ISO-Datei kann sowohl auf CD gebrannt als auch mit Programmen wie dd auf USB-Sticks kopiert werden. Es kann sowohl für i686 als auch für x86_64-Installationen verwendet werden.

Der Download ist nur für Neuinstallationen notwendig! Ein bestehendes Arch Linux System kann immer mit pacman -Syu aktuell gehalten werden!
