| Possibly none. Generally they "freeze" the release a few days early. It's quite easy for someone to get their hands on that release, they tend to put them on the mirrors all at once, so they have to have some delay. However, in the unlikely event a significant bug appears during those few days (3 in this case) there may be a sudden change in the final release image. I explained the two ways to get your hands on a non-official final release image in a post below. The due date for the true final release is the 25th at 10AM eastern time. |

| The official final isn't out yet. So I can't be sure. I haven't gotten an IM back from the poster to be sure what it is. There are two possibilities, this is the Preview release patched to the final freeze status, or an "early grab" copy of the final release, which would be being sent to mirrors over the next few days as non-readable by anonymous users. (In other words anyone with user-level access to a mirror could grab a copy at this point.) Due to the time of the release either is possible. I haven't inspected the contents yet, beyond the file listing. Either way, it should be considered non-official, as we should have the official torrent on our official release so the hash will be the same, and the two trackers' peer-bases can share their pool by DHT. |
